Last night at Rockestra 2, I headbanged and jumped up and down with gusto and total abandon. There is something about the lyrics to Salamat that hit me at the core every time I hear them. This song, along with Bon Jovi's It's My Life are songs which best define me. Every day is a good day to live. Salamat, God! Salamat sa pamilya, salamat sa kaibigan, salamat sa mga biyayang natanggap at matatanggap sa susunod na panahon. =)

Hearing Salamat again after almost 4 years caused me to remember past friendships which petered and faded away due to lack of attention, lack of understanding and a general lack of appreciation. I never told them how much I valued their friendship. I hope they realize that they will always be in my mind and my heart.
